In January 2005 Misato Yamanaka Vocals Piano Kaname Arai Guitar Synthesizer Koji Tanemura Guitar And Kazuya Hori Bass Formed Kacica. Kacica At First Experimented With Guitar Sampling And Fusing Japanese Concepts With The Then Experimental Chamber Post-Rock Sounds Of Mogwai Mew Deerhoof And Sigur Ros. In March 2005 Hiroshi Atarashi Drums Joined Kacica And Since Then There Have Been Five Members. They Have Been Described As "combining Brian Eno's Kaleidoscopic New Wave Art The Emotive Progressiveness Of "Radiohead” And The Psychedelic Feel Of “The Doors” And “The Velvet Underground". Misato's Ingenious Vocals Reminiscent Of Bjork Weave Strong Emotion Into It All. In Live Performances Kacica Are Known For Their Energetic And Emotionally Trancelike Shows. Since August 2005 Kacica Has Performed Nationwide. They Continue To Gain Popularity And Supported Minus The Bear's Post Rock Band Of Seattle USA Tour Of Japan. In October 2006 They Released Their First Album Self-Titled “Kacica” Through The Well-Known Psychedelic Post-Rock Label Pengtrade Records. On Their First Tour They Performed 30 Shows Gaining Fans For Their Recognizable Live Gigs. In Response To Their First Album's Success Kacica Released A Remix Album “My Eyes They're Called The Earth ” In March Of 2007 Which Contains 4 Remixed Songs From Their First Album And A Few Unreleased Songs. In The Same Month Kacica Supported The United States Instrumental Post-Rock Band "We're From Japan!"'s Debut In Nara Japan.
