Kim English Born In Chicago Died April 2 2019 Was An American Electronica Soul Gospel And House Music Singer. English Experienced A Great Deal Of Success On The Hot Dance Music/Club Play Charts Beginning In The Mid-Nineties And Continuing Into The 21st Century. Her First Chart Entry Came In 1995 And Was A Minor Hit "I Know A Place " A US #32 . Between 1999 To 2007 She Scored Eight Hit Singles In A Row That Hit The Top Two Five Of Those Went To Number One "Unspeakable Joy" "Missing You" "Bumpin' And Jumpin'" "Everyday" And "Treat Me Right" "It Makes A Difference" "C'est La Vie" And "My Destiny." Most Of Them Have Received Moderate To High Rotation On Rhythmic/Dance Format Radio Stations. The "Higher Things" Album Also Features An Excellent Cover Of Anita Baker's Hit Song "Been So Long."
