Las Flores Project Is The Moniker Of Brooklyn-Based Producer Christian Banks. "Las Flores Project" Aptly Named After The Geographical Area Of Banks' Musical Beginnings Came Into Conception In 2005 But Did Not Become A Full Time Endeavor Until Late 2006. After A Year Of Recording Las Flores Project Unveiled The Debut Album "Colores Y Memorias"in 2008. Using A Method Of Sample-Based Sequencing Turntablism And Live Instrumentation "Colores Y Memorias" Presented 11 Compositions Of Heavily Textured Melodies And Driving Drum Breaks Journeying Through Everything From Classic 90's Hip-Hop To Obscure 60's Psych-Rock From Blunted Jazz To Vague Dollar-Bin Record Finds And Everything In Between. Banks Continues To Produce Music Under The Las Flores Project Appellation.
