Meg & Dia Is An American Band Formed In 2004. It Was Founded By Sisters Meg And Dia Frampton Originating From Utah And Is Now A Five-Piece Act With Additional Members Nicholas Price Jonathan Snyder And Carlo Gimenez. Meg & Dia Previously Known As The Meg & Dia Band Released Its First Album Our Home Is Gone In 2005. At The Time The Band Consisted Of Just The Two Frampton Sisters And The Album's Tracks Were Mostly Acoustic Songs. Meg Played Guitar And Provided Back-Up Vocals While Dia Sang. A Year Later They Released Their Second Album Something Real Which Was Their First Album Released Under Doghouse Records. In 2009 Meg & Dia Released Their Third Album Here Here And Here. The Songs What If And Black Wedding Have Since Been Released As Singles.

I Actually Wrote This Song With No Intention Of Anyone Ever Hearing It. I Wrote It For My Little Sister Jade. One Day After I Came Home To My Family's House To Visit I Remember One Night I Got In A Really Big Fight With Her And Said Some Really Really Awful Things Not To Mention Yell Which I Hardly Ever Do. Yelling Is For Animals Is What My Dad Always Told Me When I Was Younger . Anyway After The Fight Was Over And I Was Leaving The Next Day Since It Was Just A Family Visit I Felt Awful. Not To Mention The Fight Was Over Ridiculously Trivial Things . I Thought To Myself "Goodness Dia! You're Almost 23 And She's Only 17 And I Can't Believe You Acted Like That! I'm So Disappointed In You. You Should Know Better...You're Old Enough To Know Better. ETC. And Things Like That Kept Going In My Head. I Wanted To Call Her Up And Say Sorry.
I Wanted To Write Her A Note And Say Sorry. But I Didn't Really Know How To Say Any Of It Because Nothing I Thought Of Saying Sounded Genuine In My Head. I Tried To Write An E-Mail But That Sounded Silly Too. I Just Felt Foolish For Actually Having A Fight Like That Still With A Sibling. When You're Older Those Pulling Hair And Pinching Fights Are Supposed To Stop. We Didn't Actually Physically Do That But We Might As Well Have . Anyone I Sat Down At My Computer Pulled My Little Recording Device Up And Got A Piano And Wrote "My Ugly Mouth." It Was A Rough Recording But Instead Of Calling Or Emailing I Sent That Song To Her No Note No Explanation Just An Attachment. She Wrote Me Back A Week Later Saying She Couldn't Stop Listening To It And That She Loved Me. Sometimes Songs Say It Best.
