Artist Biography For Mental Trap
Mental Trap Is A Rock Band From Lviv Ukraine. It Was Created By Guitarist Eugene Anzhu And Bassist Arthur Toderenchuk In 2010. Back Then The Band Wanted To Play Music In A Progressive Metal Style. A Couple Of Instrumental Demos Were Recorded Thanks To The Multi-Instrumental Skills Of The Band's Members Arthur Perfectly Plays The Bass Guitar And Drums And Eugene Besides Playing Guitar Has Experience In Writing Music Mixing And Arranging. After A Long Search For Missing Band Members Alex Shelest Prime Time Guffrick Сoda -Ex Free Breath -Ex Was Invited To Join The Band As A Session Drummer And In Such Structure The Band Started To Work On Their Repertoire But With No Vocals. Using All The Possible Ways The Band Searched For A Vocalist Who Would Own An Appropriate Tone And Good Pronunciation Of English Because All The Lyrics For The Songs Were Written In English. Many Contenders Were Considered – But Unfortunately With No Result. The Luck Came From Where It Was Least Expected Several Mutual Friends Suddenly Remembered The Great Vocal Skills Of The Bassist From The Band I Gave Back Ilya Orlov. His Voice Charmed With Its Beautiful Blues Tone And His Good English Pronunciation Left No Doubts In The Right Choice. At That Time The Band Moved To A More Lightweight Alternative Style Of Music. Ilya's Vocals Perfectly Befitted For The New Material And So He Was Invited To Record For One Of The Songs In The Future Album. The Song Entered The Debut Single “Miracles Happen” Released Before The New 2012. During The Recording Process All The Members Realized Unanimously That The Work On The Single Was A Starting Point For The Band Mental Trap Because They All Wanted To Continue The Work On The Album. Further Fate Of The Band Is Unknown The Boys Have A Great Desire And Ability To Create Competitive High-Quality Music And Therefore There Is Confidence That Mental Trap With It's Present Members Has A Great Creative Potential. Without Waiting For Completion Of Recording Works The Band Is Planning A Big Concert Activity. With The Development Of New Events In The Band Information Will Be Updated.
