First Formed In Early 2010 In Lancaster By Caz Latham Lauren Denman Who Met At The University Of Salford And First Worked Together In The Spinning Jennys In 2004 Charlotte Lane And Adam James Wishart Taylor The Band Were Out Of The Rehearsal Studio Within Six Months Armed With Their Debut Demo EP Mitford Rebel EP Http //corpor.At/R235 And A Tenacious Sense Of Urgency And Determination. Gigs Came Thick And Fast And Progress Was Quick But Steady. This Proved Too Much For Bassist Charlotte Who Unfortunately Couldn't Commit To The Workload And Left In November 2010. She Was Replaced Within A Month By Caz Taylor Who Quickly Integrated. Nationwide Gigs Followed With The Band Playing Dates In London Newcastle And Edinburgh As Well As Regular Gigs In Manchester And Closer To Home. They Also Had Nationwide And Local Press Mentions Local Radio Appearances And Were Interviewed And/or Reviewed By The Likes Of The Stool Pigeon Rock Sound Fetch The Nets And Red Rose Music Lancs Among Others.
They Started Work On Their First Album In November 2010 However Trouble Was Brewing In The Form Of Adam's New Life In Leeds. Adam Had Started An MA Across The Pennines In September And From Then On It Became More And More Obvious That His Interests Were Shifting And His Allegiances Changing. Try As He Might He Just Couldn't Manage Juggling His Degree Mitford Rebel And His New Band HidesUK Any Longer And Made The Difficult Decision To Let Mitford Rebel Go In Early Summer 2011. His Final Gig With The Band Was An Emotional Local One At Yorkshire House In Lancaster On 1st July 2011. The Band Are Still Associated With Adam - Because Of His Important Input In Shaping The Band In The Early Days He Is Still Appearing As Drummer On The Upcoming Album As Well As Recording And Producing It At His Studio High Octane Productions Near Chorley . Whilst Searching For A Replacement Permanent Drummer Local Musician And Hero Dave Walker Of Local Band Carpe Stood In For The Ladies And Fitted In Perfectly. Unfortunatley Due To University Commitments Dave Could Not Become A Permanent Fixture. However After A Search That Seemed To Last A Lifetime The Band Finally Found The Man For The Job In The Form Of Newly-Graduated Prestonian Bobby Rathod Who Played His Debut Gig With The Band At The Alley In Lancaster On 10th September 2011. Debut Album 'Kings & Fools' Featuring Adam On Drums And Recorded And Produced By Him At His Studio High Octane Productions Was Released Digitally In June 2012.
