1. Ocio Is A Constellation From Argentina With The Two Artists Gustavo Cerati Well Known Guitarist And Vocalist In Soda Stereo And Member Of Plan V And Flavio Etcheto Aka Flavius E. And Trineo . The Music Is Often Referred To As Minimal And Ambient. 2. ÓCIO “Why Don’t We Form A Punk Rock Band? ” ÓCIO Begins With This Question Furlan Puts To Chuck In December ’98. After All Even They Could Play Punk Rock. They Start Looking For A Drummer And After A Few Months They Find Lucas Arantes. What They Played Wasn’t Really Punk It Was Something Like Blues Rock Post Punk…whatever That Means. ÓCIO’s First Gig Happened In March ’99 And The Audience Amounted To Exactly One Person. They Played One Song. After Chuck And Arantes Left In 2000 Murilo Abreu And André Balarini Took Over Bass And Drums. In 2001 They Recorded A Demo With 3 Songs Worse Give Up Both By Furlan And Anewrysm Nirvana . Then Furlan Goes To England And The Band Breaks Up. With His Return To Brazil In 2002 ÓCIO Comes Back From The Dead This Time With Chuck Once Again And The Addition Of The Drums Razer Literally Patrick Preato. Worse And Give Up Are Included In The 100 Tribos Collection Refúgio Records In The Same Year. In 2003 ÓCIO Records Another Demo This Time With 3 Of Their Own Songs Natural Born Cleaner And The Revenge Of The Canvasser Comfort Blues And The King Of The Gas Station. Unhappy With The Final Product The Band Decides To Face The Studio Once Again And Finally Make A Decent Demo. Just Before The Beginning Of The Recording Sessions Chuck Leaves ÓCIO For The Last Time. Furlan And Preato Have To Look For A New Bass Player. Rodrigo Larica Joins Them That Same Year And They Start Rehearsing. From The Beginning. “Why Don’t We Record An Album? ” In 2004 The Band Realizes They Were Working Too Hard Just To Record A Simple Demo And Decide To Risk An Independent Album. The Rehearsals Would Take Place At Casa Alta Where Larica And Members Of Solana Another Local Band Lived. Furlan ALSO Moves In And The Band Shuts Itself Up There To Start Pre-Producing Mood Swings Their First Album With The Producer Sérgio Benevenuto. In August 2005 ÓCIO Records At Casa Da Floresta Studio. At The End Of The Year Mood Swings Was Ready And Was Released In 2006. * Casa Alta Vitória-ES/Brazil Has Been Used As A Pre-Production Studio By Many Local Bands. It Is Also The Home Of Members Of ÓCIO And Others.
