Old Apparatus Was An Enigmatic East London Duo Consisting Of LTO And Asher Levitas. Between 2011 And 2013 They Released 8 EPs Of Abstract Sound With Deep Fuzzed-Out Bass Lines Crackling Static Ambience And Ominous Burial-Like Rimshots. Their First Two Were On Mala’s Deep Medi Musik Label Home Of Serious Bass-Heavy Sound System Music After Which They Formed Their Own Label Called Sullen Tone.
