Add A Little Of Husker Du's Guitar Grinding Melodicism And Add A Dash Of Vocal Harmony Stolen Straight From The Beatles And You Might Get The General Idea. The Buke VA Based Poole Were One Of Many Suburban D.C. Guitar Pop Bands Of The '90s Recording Three Full Lengths For One Of The Preeminent Indie Labels At The Time SpinART Records. The Band Formed In The Early 90s And Broke Up In 1999. They Released Three Full-Length Albums Alaska Days The Late Engagement And Among Whom We Shine Plus Several Singles And EPs Over The Course Of The 90s. The Band Was Led By Brothers Harry And Harv Evans And Various Lineups Included Members Jeff Booth Brian Barnhart Pall Masters Dean Nitz And William Campbell. After Poole's Breakup The Evans Brothers Returned To Their Previous Band The Throes.
