Formed In Recife PE Brazil In The 70's Was The Most Important Group To Create A Form Of Brazilian Chamber Music With Folk Roots. Tied To The Armorial Movement Of Ariano Suassuna That Proposed A Dialog Between The Folkloric Medieval Songs And The Creative And Interpretative Pratices Of The Northeast Of Brazil The Group Was Composed By A Rabeca Rudimentar Form Of Violin Pífano A Kind Of Flute Country Guitar Guitar And Zabumba A Percurssive Instrument As By Violin Viola And Flute. The Groups Components Were Antônio José Madureira Egildo Vieira Do Nascimento Antonio Nóbrega Fernando Torres Barbosa E Edison Eulálio Cabral. They Recorded Four LPs Before The Group Disbanded In 1980. Antônio Nóbrega Followed A Single Carreer And His Work Keeps Deep Ties With The Armorial Movement. By The End Of The 90's A New Group Formed Performing A Work Close With That Of The Quinteto Armorial. It Is Called Quarteto Romançal And Its Artistical Director Antônio José Madureira Was A Member Of Quinteto Armorial.
