Touring Songwriter And Recording Artist Rob Lytle Has One Of The Most Distinctive And Engaging Voices On The Folk/acoustic Scene A Charismatic Presence And The Ability To Deliver Songs With An Unaffected Honesty And Passion. This Combination Along With His Ability To Interact With Audiences Has Made Him A Favorite In Intimate Performance Venues And House Concert Settings. A Recent Winner Of The 2010 North Carolina Songwriters Contest His Songs And Performances Offer Audiences A Heart Filled Melodic Sensibility Sense Of Humor And Emotional Connection That Is Deceptively Simple Powerful And Real. He Is Best Known As One Of The Mainstays Of The Boston Singer Songwriter Resurgence Of The 90's And For His Songs “Cry For The Working Man” And “That’s My Head That’s Talking” Both Of Which Have Received Worldwide Airplay And Praise. Over The Years Rob Has Shared The Stage With Artists Such As David Wilcox Dar Williams Vance Gilbert Don White Brooks Williams And Martin Sexton And Has Performed At Legendary Venues Including Passim Café’ Lena The Folkway The Old Vienna Coffeehouse And The Lowell Folk Festival.
