Lewis "Scan" Tester 1887-1972 Was An English Traditional Folk Musician Who Became Well-Known In Folk Circles Towards The End Of His Life After Being Captured In A Number Of Traditional Music Field Recordings. A Native Of Horsted Keynes Sussex Tester Was A Fine Singer And Played The Bandoneon Melodeon Fiddle And Tambourine Proficiently Although He Was Best Known As A Concertina Player And It Was Thus Instrument That He Was Recorded Playing In The 1960s.
