Serrote Preto Is A Group That Was Started Around 2000 In The City Of Porto Alegre South Brazil. It Was The Result Of A Meeting Between Artists In Different Fields Such As Acting Music And Visual Arts That Joined To Sing And Play Drums To Celebrate Popular Festivities. Time Has Passed And Serrote Preto Has Acquired Experience. During Its Path The Group Has Added Musical Research Praxis With Brazilian Rhythms And Instruments To Musicians From Various Backgrounds Ethnicity And Place Of Origin. Pandeiro The Brazilian Tambourine Bombo Leguero Tambor Sopapo Atabaques Agogôs Agês And Many Other Percussion Instruments Are The Base Of The Regional Rhythm Studies Carried Out By The Group. The Guitar The Singing Saw The Rabeca The Cavaquinho The Trombone The Trumpet The Sax And The Berimbau Came To Add Harmony. With Authentic And Very Creative Music The Group Talks About The Earth The Water The Fire And The Air Expressing Themselves Through A Wonderful And Contagious Musical Mix That Gives The Group Involving Stage Presence. Now That The Group Has Been Awarded Important Prizes And Has Made Great Institutional Partnerships And Social Projects After Over 1200 Live Shows With An Audience Of Over 120 Thousand People Workshops Radio And Tv Shows With A Captive Audience And Many Stories To Tell The Grupo Serrote Preto Serves As A Reference In Musical Research And Is Preparing To Show Their Music And Their Colors To The World Without Forgetting To Be Competent Humble And Responsible.
