Somió Is The The Downtempo Avenue Of Kieron James' Musical Expressions. Deva The Title Of Somió's First Release Is Also The Name Given To A Superhuman Being In Traditional Buddhist Cosmology. It Means 'deity' In Hinduism And Refers To The Spiritual Forces Or Beings Behind Nature For The New Age Movement. So Does He Possess Superhuman Powers? Kieron Isn't Telling. But Since Deva Is A Small Community In The Beautiful Spanish Region Of Asturias - The Inspiration For Many Of The Pieces Featured - We've Drawn Our Own Conclusions! Kieron's Interest In Percussive Sounds - And Their Significance To The Overall Composition - Results From His Musical Apprenticeship As A Drummer In A Number Of Bands The Most Successful Being The Emotionals. The Band Kicked Off A Craze On London's Underground Using Handmade Stickers To Promote Gigs At The George Robey Borderline And Marquee Clubs.
