Artist Biography For The Centurions

The Centurions Were A Surf Rock Band From Newport Beach California Active In The Late 1950s And Early 1960s. In Recent Times They Are Best Known For The Recording "Bullwinkle Part II" A Dark And Saxy Surf Tune From The Eponymous Album Featured In Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction". Less Well Known Is The Use Of "Intoxica " A Twangy And Upbeat Surf Instrumental In John Waters' 1972 Film "Pink Flamingos". The Above Photo Is NOT The Newport Beach Centurions But Of A Canadian Gospel Rock Band Also Called "The Centurions" From The 60s And 70s
