Artist Biography For The Edge Uk
In 2008 Ben Thomas And Laura Collins Formed The Edge Project. Their Aim Was To Create An Album Of Music That Drew Influences From Fairy Tales And Fantasy As Well As A Smattering Of Autobiographical References. We All Fall Down Became The First Venture Into This Particular Exploration And Was Released In 2009. Ethereal Vocal And Horn Melodies Lead A Distinctly Acoustic Ensemble. Released In 2011 And Now Led By Ben Thomas Dark Scrawls Interpreted Visual Elements Of Each Track Using Photography. This Increasingly Expansive Production Continued To Form An Imaginative World Born Out Of Personal Experiences. The Latest Release Within This World Within My Mind Was Launched On Christmas Eve In 2013. This Album Featured An Augmented Musical Production Of Cinematic Soundscapes Immersed In Outlandish Expression. With Each Track Now Accompanied By Painted Artwork Photography And Film Within This World Within My Mind Heralded The Formation Of A New Artistic Vision For The Edge Project. The Edge Project Continues To Evolve As An Art Project And Now Presents Itself Through Musical Productions Paintings Photography Film Exhibitions And Live Art.
