The Band Released A Series Of Singles That Gained Critical Acclaim From National Music Press Including Single Of The Week With The Track ‘boutique In My Backyard’ Later Covered By Sophie Ellis Baxter’s Theaudience. First Ablum Was A Compilation Of 4 Eps Named ‘Woof’ Released On The Swarf Finger Label. Corin Left The Band To Form Alpha With Keith Bailey Drums And Joe Rooney Keyboards Joining In Mid 1996. In 1997 They Released Their First Album ‘Disgrotesque’ On Berlin-Based Label Bungalow Records After Some Live Dates In Germany As Well As A John Peel Session. The Band Then Released 2 Singles On Bristol’s Cup Of Tea Label But Signed To Berlin Based City Slang For Their Second Album ‘Homesick’ In 1999. Sadly Before The Album’s Release Bass Player Chris Galvin Died. Mark Barber Chesterfields Joined The Band As Bass Player Before Being Replaced By Phil Wilmot In 2000 Just Prior To Releasing The Band’s Third Album ‘the Tracksuit Trilogy’ On City Slang In 2001. The Album Gained Excellent Reviews In The Music Press And National Newspapers Including Album Of The Week In The Guardian Along With Radio Play Including Radio 1 And Highly Praised For The Live Tours In Europe And The UK. The Band Left City Slang In 2002 But Released A Fourth Album On Cooking Vinyl In 2004. Successful European Tours As Well As Their First Appearance At Glastonbury Festival In 2004 Followed. However Their Was A 3 Year Gap Before The 2007 Release On Triumphant Sound ‘Tinsel Stars’. Since This Period The Band Have Continued With Some New Material And Have Reccently Finished Mixing A New Album. Drummer Keith Bailey Left The Band In 2010 And Has Been Replaced By Mark Bradley. The New Album For Release In 2012 Is Perhaps The Band’s Most Cohiesive To Date Will Combine Woodward’s Prolific Songwriting Talent Along With The Band’s Enduring Ability To Create Some Great Music.
