Artist Biography For The Pontoons
Pontoons Were A New York Based Indie-Pop Trio That Was Active In The Early/mid 90's. They Practiced At The Legendary Grant St. Rehearsal Spaces In Hoboken NJ Down The Hall From Sonic Youth And Yo La Tengo. Pontoons Self-Released Two 7' Singles Juncos And Robins/bw Back Again And Landslide/bw The Other Side Before Calling It Quits. Tom Hunt Vocals Guitar Was Joined First By Tony Skutnik Bass And Christian Harper Drums And Then Later By Pamela Margid Bass And Dave Reynolds Drums . In February 2012 Tom Hunt And Christian Harper Released "Antidote" Their First Single In Over 15 Years. "Antidote" Is Slated To Be Part Of A Full-Length Release Scheduled For Later In The Year.
