The Artist Hid Her Name Under The Anagram THE RODEO A Word Evoking The South Of The USA A Style Of Music Which Inspired The Singer And A Hommage To The Pioneers Of Folk Blues And Country Music. When She Was A Child She Discovered A Treasure In Her Uncle's Attic. Hidden Among Dusty Vinyls And Books Was A Slumbering Guitar Dating From The Mythical 1970's. She Then Started Writing And Composing Ballads Designed As Fairy Tales For Grown-Ups Fables Without A Moral. Her Lyrics Introduce Different Characters Places And Atmospheres. Past Shows Include The Rodeo Opened For My Brightest Diamond Nina Nastasia Declan Debarra Ilene Barnes Phoebe Killdeer Nouvelle Vague Sharko Logh And Many French Acts Constance Verluca Valérie Leulliot Jeanne Cherhal .
