The Secret Meeting Is A Collaboration Between KaRIN And Statik Of The Band Collide And Dean Garcia From The Band Curve. "We Never Even Considered Doing A Side Project " Says Statik. "We Were So Busy Doing All Things Collide. However When The Opportunity Came Up To Work With Dean We Couldn't Resist." One Day KaRIN Happened To Be Surfing Around In Cyberspace And Came Across Dean's Solo Work. She Emailed Him To See If He Might Like A Guest Vocal. I Was Just Throwing It Out There When I Asked Him " Says KaRIN. "I Was Ultra Excited When I Heard Back From Dean That He Thought That It Would Be A Cool Idea. We Then Asked Statik If He Would Also Want To Be Part Of It. Thankfully He Did So We All Continued To Work On Tracks Until It Turned Into A Whole Album." Says KaRIN "Dean Has Been So Great To Work With. He Is So Chill And Easy Going. He Would Send Music And I Would Lose Myself Inside The Sounds Finding Words And Melodies And Then Statik Would Put The Whole Thing Together And Add His Special Touches. The Only Instructions That Dean Ever Really Gave Us Was... Have Fun So I Think Our Approach Was Slightly More Playful On This Collaboration. I Am Still Chasing My Demons But Maybe I Am Having A Little More Fun With Them On This Release. To Me The Whole Thing Feels Sort Of Dreamy And Surreal."
