Tigercity Was Formed In Northampton MA In The Fall Of 2004. By January 2005 Tigercity Had Themselves A DIY Bedroom Electronics-Style Demo. That Following Summer Found The Band In-Studio With Long Time Friend/engineer-Producer Al Carlson. In Two Months TCITY AL Molded The Process-Heavy Demo Tracks Into What Became The Tigercity EP Forge Records . Time Card Appeared On The VICE Magazine CD/DVD Vol. 1 Sampler In February 2006. Now Living In Brooklyn Tigercity Combines Guitar-Driven Rock And Electronic Pop With Hints Of Roxy Music Talking Heads The Police And Prince. Successful Nights At The Annex Club Midway The Knitting Factory The Middle East Lit Lounge And North Six Have The Band Making Waves From Jersey To Manhattan Boston And Brooklyn. Shows With Jamie Lidell M.I.A Serena Maneesh Jimmy Edgar Mobius Band DieDieDie And Oxford Collapse Have Their Fan Base Growing Rapidly Since Their Western Massachusetts Transplant.
