Slovenian Bio Leto 2006 Je Bilo V Zadnjih Izdihljajih Ko So Se Marko Obranovič »Marjo« Baskitara Tjaš Kozlovič »Tosh« Kitara Gregor Brajkovič »Brajko« Bobni Vokal In Tomi Toth Vokal Zbrali Da Bi Ob Glasbenem Druženju Zaznamovali Prihod Novega Leta. Toda To Ni Bilo Zgolj Še Eno Silvestrovanje. Iz Rekreativnega Preigravanja Glasbe Drugih Avtorjev Kot So Ga Radi Ironično Poimenovali Se Je Rodilo Nekaj Povsem Drugega Svežega In Nepričakovanega. Marjo Je Preostalim Predlagal Da Bi Se Poskusili V Ustvarjanju Avtorske Glasbe In Tosh Mu Je Z Vabljivim Kitarskim Rifom Nemudoma Pritrdil. Pridružila Sta Se Mu Še Marjo In Brajko In Ker Je Ravno V Tistem Času Krajevna Študentska Organizacija Prirejala Tekmovanje Za Neuveljavljene Skupine So Se Fantje Odločili Da Sprejmejo Izziv In Se Prijavijo Nanj. Do Popolne Skladbe Je Manjkal Le Še Vokal In Tomi Je Dobil Nalogo Da Se V Nekaj Dneh Preden Bi Se Iztekel Rok Za Prijavo Domisli Privlačne Vokalne Linije In Napiše Besedilo. Tako Je Nastala Skladba Ever Wordless? Ki So Jo Fantje Takoj Zatem Posneli V Vadnici Pri Brajku. Manjkalo Je Le Še Ime Skupine. Tomi Je Imel Vse Od Začetka V Mislih Koncept In Ta Se Je Spontano Izrazil V Eni Besedi Toxine. Ustvarjanje Glasbe Je Kmalu Preraslo Prvotni Namen Nastopiti Na Študentskem Tekmovanju. Fantje So Bili Namreč Tako Prevzeti Od Ustvarjalne Energije Ki Je Zavladala V Skupini Da Je Moral Toxine Kot Ideja O Štirih Egih V Vrtincu Glasbene Fuzije Prerasti Svoje Okvirje. Ko Se Je Tosh Odločil Da Poti S Skupino Ne Bo Nadaljeval Je Resda Začasno Umanjkal Kitarist Toda Fantov To Ni Ustavilo. Velika Želja Da Ne Bi Ugasnili Je Maja Leta 2007 V Skupino Pripeljala Kitarista Sama Turka. Ta Je V Toxine Začutil Glasbeni Izraz Ki Mu Je Blizu In Ki Ga Je Želel Razvijati Naprej Tudi Sam. Fantje So Začeli Ustvarjati Skladbe In Odkrivati Nove Svetove. Marca 2008 Ko So Pripravljali Repertoar Za Svoj Prvi Koncert Je Žiga Fabbro Saksofonist In Samov Prijatelj Predlagal Da Bi S Svojim Inštrumentom Obogatil Zvok Toxine. Odslej Je Reden Glasbeni Gost In Velik Prijatelj Skupine. Prvi Koncert Je Bil Zelo Uspešen In Navdušenje Nad Tem Kar Prinaša Ustvarjanje Veliko. Novica Da Marjo Zapušča Skupino Fantom Ni Vzela Zagona In Po Nekaj Avdicijah Je Postalo Jasno Da Je Pravi Baskitarist Za Toxine Lahko Le Eden Jaša Hedžet »Jajo«. Novi Član Se Je V Skupini Takoj Počutil Kot Doma Pa Ne Samo To V Glasbo Toxine Je Vnesel Svež Veter In Ker Je Takoj Sprevidel Da Skupina S Svojo Energijo Imenitno Deluje Na Odru Je Predlagal Da Bi Medse Povabili Mladena Krkača Njegovega Bratranca In Najboljšega Prijatelja Predvsem Pa Izkušenega Tonskega Mojstra – Seveda So Ga Fantje Z Veseljem Povabili Za Stalnega Člana.
Toxine Je Tako Dobil Svojo Današnjo Obliko In Vsebino. Vsebino Ki Vseskozi Preseneča Premika Meje V Glasbenem Izražanju Se Spogleduje Z Drugimi Umetnostmi In Navdihuje Ter Nagovarja Svoje Člane K Tistemu Onkraj. English Bio Toxine Was Founded On The New Year's Eve 2006/07. At The Time Former Members Marko Obranovič »Marjo« Bass Guitar Tjaš Kozlovič »Tosh« Guitar Gregor Brajkovič »Brajko« Drums/vocals And Tomi Toth Vocals Musically Met Together Yet Again To Indulge In What They Ironically Called Recreative Playing. Since They Shared A History Of Friendship - At Times Centered Around Music But Not Necessarily – They Felt At Ease During Their Sessions. After Only Two Meetings Of The Recreative Kind Marjo Proposed To Make An Own Song Because They Were Obviously All Quite Bored Of Re-Playing Songs That Other People Wrote And Also Because He Thought It Would Be Fun To Enter The Contest For Unknown Bands That The Local Students' Organisation Has Put Up. The Creative Process Started Very Lightly Tosh Quickly Concocted A Basic Tune On The Guitar And Seconds Later Marjo Had A Groove Going On. Brajko Was Getting A Feel Of What He Would Like To Play On That Base Even Before It Was Fully Constituted. It Was Friday And The Guys Realised They Had A Full Song Without The Vocal Part In Their Hands. The Deadline For The Inscription To The Contest Was Only Days Away So They Decided To Give The Singer A Weekend Time To Come Up With A Lyric And A Vocal Line »and Make It Groovy...« They Said. Past The Weekend The Song »Ever Wordless?« Was Ready For The Recording That Was Done Home-Style In Brajko's Rehearsal Place. Once The Recording Wa S Finished The Only Thing Missing For The Inscription Was A Name. Tomi Had An Idea A Concept On His Mind Since The First Moments They Started This Jolly Endevour And The Name For It Came Up As Spontaneously As Everything Else TOXINE. By The Time The Material For The Contest Was Ready To Be Sent To The Students' Organisation The Guys Were Completely Captivated By Their Joint Work. Suddenly The Contest They Were Applying For Mattered Little In Comparison To The Creative Energy That Concentrated In This Band Of People That Had Gained Conceptual Ground And A Vision That Was Clear Even Though Difficult To Put Into Words. From Then On It Became Apparent That Toxine Was Not Merely A Name For A Group Of Egos Creating Musical Fusion And The Lyrics They Were Using In Their First Songs Were Reflecting That Feeling. That Became Even More Obvious When Tosh Decided He Wanted To Leave The Band. Toxine Had Suddenly Had A Musician Missing But Its Creative Energy Has Only Started To Develop In Its First Form So A Splitting An Ending Of This 'playing With Musicality' Was Not Even An Option And The World Seemed To Respond To That Because Toxine Had A New Guitarist Ready To Take Tosh's Position Right Away. In May Of 2007 Samo Turk Was Not Only Willing And Able To Join Toxine But Also Excited About It Because He Saw In Toxine Something Conceptually And Musically Close To What He Wanted To Be Creating. Samo Was Also Fond Of Engaging In Singing And Exploring New Modes Of Expression Which Was Exactly What Toxine Was Inviting In Its Midst. Toxine Was Go Again To Produce New Material That Kept Their Members Eager To Explore And Create More. In March Of 2008 When The Band Was Preparing A Short Repertoire Of Material To Be Performed At Their First Concert Žiga Fabbro A Saxophonist And Friend Of Samo's Showed Interest For Helping To Enrich The Sound Of Some Of Toxine's Songs With The Color Of His Own Insrtument. Since Then He Has Been Toxine's Great Friend And Regular Guest Musican. Toxine's First Concert Proved To Be A Success And Even Though The Band Was Only Begining To Get Its Musical Composure The Excitement About The Potential In It Was So Great That Nothing Could Stop It. That Proved To Be Even More So When In August Of 2008 Marjo Had Lost Interest In What Was Now A Musical And Conceptually Rich Group Of People With A Clear Vision And Will To Create And Develop Further. The Temporary Absence Of A Bass Player Had Not Diminished Toxine's Eagerness To Go On And The World Seemed To Respond Again. After A Short Period Af Auditions Aimed At Finding A New Bass Player The Options Were Quickly Reduced To One Man Jaša Hedžet »Jajo«. Luckily So The Choice Made Out Of Necessity Proved To Be Toxine's Best Option. The New Member Felt So Much At Home In Toxine's »way Of Life« That The Band Quickly Realised The Change Of Members Has Represented A Leap Forward. With His Own Creative Momentum Jajo Infused Fresh Energy Into Toxine And He Also Brought A Proposal. Since He Realised That Toxine Would Most Probably Work Best On Stage In Its Live Setting He Offered To Invite His Cousin And Best Friend Mladen Krkač - Who Has Had Years Of Experience As A Sound Technician – To Join The Group As A Permanent Member. Toxine Has So Moulded Into The Form It Presently Exists In. From There On The Music Brought Forth By Toxine Has Not Stopped To Surprise And Inspire Its Members That Are Ever More Engaged In A Mode Of Expression That Hardly Accepts The Limitations Of Mere Musical Fusion But Is Spreading Into And Meeting With Other Types Of Artistic Construction Which Is Becoming More Apparent In Toxine's Live Performances As Time Goes By.
