Harel Skaat Was Born On The 8th Of August In Kfar Saba. He Is The Middle Child With An Older Sister And A Younger Brother. Harel Knew At A Very Young Age What He Wanted To Do When He'd Grow Up. His Father That Used To Play The Guitar Taught Harel To Sing At A Very Young Age And When He Was Six Years Old He Participated And Won A Local Singing Children’s Festival Contest In Kfar Saba. During The Years Harel Participated In A Variety Of Children’s Shows And Singing Concerts. He Also Participated In A Special Chanukah Episode Of The Very Famous Children’s Program Back Then Called Delightful Butterfly Parpar Nechmad . In His Youth Years He Learned To Play The Keyboards For 3 Years. Harel Did His Millitary Service At Several Places In Several Units And Eventually Settled Down In The Communication Unit Where He Was Stated In The Musical Singing Group Of The Unit. His Musical Breakthrough Came After Harel Participated In The Second Season Of A The TV Show A Star Is Born. Right From The Start He Was Marked As One Of The Favorite Candidates And As The Show Went On It Was Speculated By The Audience And The Media That He Will Be The Winner. Eventually Harel Finished Second After Harel Moyal But He Got Lots Of Compliments On His Performance During The Different Episodes Of The Show And Of Course There Was High Demand For Him From The Local Music Companies. In 2004 Harel Participated Again In A Singing Festival This Time It Was The National Contest. In This Contest Harel Sang A Song Called To Fly Which Was Written By The Creators Of A Star Is Born. Harel Won The Second Place And Lost Again To Harel Moyal That Took The First Place. After Signing A Contract With The Music Label Hed Artzi Harel Started Working On His Debut Album In 2005. The Self-Titled Debut Album Was Released Only Recently On July 2006. It Was Produced By The Famous Singer Writer And Musical Producer Izhar Ashdot. Many Of The Songs On The Album Were Also Written By Famous Lyric Writers Like Keren Peles Esther Shamir And Ohad Khitman. Harel Himself Also Wrote The Melody To The Song Called Even If Fires. The First Single From The Album Called And You That Was Written For Him By Keren Peles Has Already Become A Hit. The Second Single From The Album Is Called How Much More Is Possible. Although The War That’s Going On In Israel And People Not Being To Focused On Music And Although The Album Got Uncomplimentary Critics From The Musical Critics And Reporters In Israel Harels Album Has Already Reached A Gold Status After A Month Of It’s Release!! The Sale Fever Doesn’t Seem To Be Calming Down And Of Course He Has His Own Growing Fans Community In Israel. Harel Released These Weeks A Special Edition Album Mostly For His Fans With Songs That He Sang In Previous A Star Is Born Shows And Special Versions To Other Songs. He’s Now Working On A Show That Will Be Based On His Debut Album And The Special Version Album He Just Released. He Will Be Touring With This Show Through Israel From September. Harel Also Loves To Listen To The Music Of Rami Kleinstein And Sarit Hadad And Hopes Very Much To Sing A Duet With Them In The Future. read less
