4rth Step Was Formed In Late 2009 By Josh Colpitts And Kris Valukis When The Two Of Them Met At A Party Held In Honor Of Josh's Uncle Who Had Recently Passed Away. Through Conversation The Two Learned Of Eachothers Musical Talents And Decided To Set Up A Jam Date. About A Week Later The Two Got Together At Josh's House Along With George DiPietro Who Kris Had Known Through Previous Band Projects. The Three Jammed And By The End Of The Night Decided They Wanted To Try And Make Something Out Of It. By The Next Practice Shaun Larson Was Brought Into The Picture Who Both Kris And George Knew Again From Previous Band Projects. Kris George And Shaun Had Been Bandmates In Various Projects Since High School. With A Good Amount Of Material Already Written They Began Going Over Some Music With Josh. In Only A Couple Of Hours The Band Had Gotten To Know Eachother And Had Already Fully Completed One Song. The Practices Continued And By The Third Practice The Band Had Now Completed Five Full Songs. By The Fourth Practice They Established The Name "Fourth Step" Which Was Not Taken From The Practice Number And Was Later Changed To 4rth Step . By February 2010 The Band Had Completed An Entire Album's Worth Of Material And Began Playing Shows Around The Worcester Area. By Their Fourth Live Performance They Were Already The Main Act On The Stage. They Completed Their First 4-Track Demo In April 2010 Which Will Be Released To The Public On May 15th 2010. read less
