She Holds A B.A. In Music From The University Of Alabama 1974 An M.A. In Music From The State University Of New York At Stony Brook 1978 And A D.M.A. From Columbia University 1989 . She Studied With György Ligeti As A Fulbright Scholar At The Köln Musikhochschule In 1980-81 And Also Studied Korean Traditional Music At The The National Center For Korean Traditional Performing Arts In Seoul 1983 . LeBaron Began Teaching At The California Institute Of The Arts In 2001 And Previously Taught At The University Of Pittsburgh. She Composes For The Anne LeBaron Quintet An Ensemble Comprising Harp Trumpet Tuba Electric Guitar And Percussion.
