The Band Members Based In The Fifth Biggest City Of Russia Started Their Musical Career With Indie Rock But In January 2015 Decided To Move To More Electronic Sound. Sergei Kashkovsky Is Band’s Vocalist/song-Writer While Dmitry Tochilin Is Responsible For The Whole Electronic Production. Not Without Irony Guys Admit That Primarily They Intended To Write Trap Music. But When Creating The First Track They Understood It’s Too Boring For Them. After Several Experiments They Found Out That The Most Original And Suitable Way To Beautify Their Music Is To Use Samples And Echoes Of A Forgotten Cultural Epoch — Jazz Of The Early And Middle 20th Century. Some Months Later Alexander Ivanov The Drummer Joined The Band. Cortel Presented Their Debut Album Of The Same Name On Ezhevika Label Minsk Belarus . The Band Compiled Their Previously Released Singles Into One Album. Those Singles Were Enthusiastically Accepted By The Listeners In Russia And Outside The Country Causing A Number Of Articles And Premieres On Blogs All Around The World. “This Album Became A Part Of Us.
