He Sings Almost Exclusively In The Regional Dialect Of Drenthe. Lohues Gained Prominence In The Netherlands As The Frontman Of Pop/rock Outift SKIK 1994-2004 Six Albums . The Demise Of SKIK Marked The Start Of His Solo Career. Lohues Became Known For His Brand Of 'Dutch Americana' Sung In The Drenthe Dialect First With His New Band Lohues & The Louisiana Blues Club Albums In 2003 And 2005 Later Under His Own Name Fourteen Studio Albums And Counting From Allennig 2006 To Nou 2024 .
