Deathmøle Is A Virtual Post-Metal Band In The Vein Of Isis Pelican Cult Of Luna And Cloudkicker Created By Jeph Jacques In 2005. The Band Currently Comprises Three Characters From His Comic Questionable Content Marten Reed Lead Guitar Amir Afridi Bass Guitar And Hannelore Ellicott-Chatham Drums . Formerly The Band Also Included Natasha Sonic Texturalist/Keyboard Who Left In 2008. Jeph Originally Released Deathmøle Songs Through His Livejournal But Eventually Switched To His Tumblr And Then To Bandcamp. To Date Deathmøle Has Released Ten Albums An EP And A One-Song Demo Called Death From Below. Their Tenth Album Permanence Was Funded Through Kickstarter. It Will Be The First Album By Deathmøle To Receive A Physical Release. According To QC Lore The Band Members All First Met In Northampton Massachusetts Where Marten Worked As An Office Bitch Amir As A Waiter Hannelore Ran An Online Business And Natasha Attended Post-Secondary School At Smif College. The Band Took Its First Form When Natasha And Amir Met At The Restaurant Where Amir Worked Upon Which Natasha Recognized Him As The Owner Of A Tooth She Had Kicked Out His Face At A Converge Show Two Weeks Earlier. Sometime Later They Had The Idea To Start An Electro-Spaz Post-Hardcore Band With Amir On Bass And Natasha On Keyboards. As Fate Would Have It Marten Lived In The Same Building As Natasha Where The Then-Current Members Of Deathmøle Had Been Having Their First And Only Jam Session As A Two-Piece Band Described By Onlookers As Like Being Ear-Raped By A Toothbrush . After Everything Calmed Down Her Roommate Suggested That Marten Could Help Make Their Songs More Musical Upon Which Amir Invited Marten To Come Jam With Them. The Result Was That Their Approach To Music Changed Drastically Becoming Somewhat More Subdued And Adopting Its Current Sound Natasha Initially Only Agreed To Play Ironically . It Was Then Decided That The Band Needed A Name A Duty Natasha Promptly Took Upon Herself Despite Initial Protests From The Other Band Members. About A Week Later The Band Began To Look For An Actual Drummer As The Synth Beats Provided By Natasha Did Not Suffice. Taking Initiative Marten Decided That Since Neither He Nor The Others Knew Any Drummers Who Weren't To Quote Amir “in Bands Dicks Or Both ” That It Would Be Better To Train One. He Turned To A Friend And Another Occupant Of His Apartment Building Hannelore Who Because Of Her Severe OCD And Ample Spending Money Made An Ideal Candidate. After A Quick Trip To The Music Store Marten Managed To Convince Hannelore To Join With Minimal Effort And The Band Remained A Four-Piece Up Until Natasha Left After Taking Offense To Implications That Her Ability To Play The Guitar Was Subpar. The Band Is Still Looking For Rhythm Guitarists But In Light Of Recent Work Is Starting To Consider Doing Live Shows.
