Donald Johnson- Guitar And Vocals. Christopher Norton- Bass. Hector Cruz- Drums. Chemistry- That Strange Ephemeral Sympathetic Quality Between Individuals- Is The Best Way To Explain Why The Three Musicians Collectively Known As Decalogue Found Themselves Drawn To Play Music Together.....Coming From Arizona Chris Southern California Don And Puerto Rico Via Tacoma Hector They Each Found Their Way To Seattle In The Early 1990's. Chris And Hector Met When They Were Co-Workers. For Months Neither Of Them Knew The Other Was A Musician But One Day Chris Happened To Catch Hector Playing 'air' Drums And The Secret Was Out. Don Answered An Ad In Early 2001 And The Three Began Playing Together With Another Guitarist Who Left Shortly Thereafter. A Female Vocalist Patricia Shetley Was Added And Songs Were Written But This Incarnation Of Decalogue Dissolved In The Autumn Of 2001 And Don Moved To An Island North Of Seattle. Immediately Upon Don's Return To Seattle A Year Later September 2002 The Band Reformed- This Time As A Three Piece With Don Handling The Vocals. They Continued To Develop Their Sound And On March 20th 2004 They Showcased This New Material At Their First Show At Mulleady’s Pub In Seattle. During April And May Of 2004 The Band Hid Out At Monolith Manor Where They Recorded And Produced The First Full-Length Decalogue Record 'Nocturne'- A Document Of The Fruits Of Their Collaboration Up Until That Time. Songs From The CD Received Airplay On Numerous College And Internet Radio Stations In The U.S. And Abroad. The Band Did A Brief Regional Tour Following The Release Of 'Nocturne'. In The Winter Of 2004 A Second CD 'Layers' Was Recorded But The Release Was Put On Hold When The Band Dissolved In 2005. In Early 2011 The Long Gestating Second Decalogue CD 'Layers' Was Finally Released Via Last.Fm.
