After Releasing A Handful Of Well Received Projects Gummy Soul Earned Its First Hit In 2011 With Amerigo Gazaway’s Fela Kuti/De La Soul Inspired Mashup Album Fela Soul. With Over 500 000 Combined Plays/downloads To Date Fela Soul Gained Praise From Outlets Including NPR MTV BoingBoing And The Source Before Landing On The Top 5 Of Both NPR And Soul Train’s Year End “Best Of 2011” Lists. In Feb. 2012 Clark Released Lovers Lane A Doo Wop Inspired Hip Hop Album Showcasing The Artist’s Clever Wit And Knack For Storytelling.
