Heroes Of Switzerland Are From Nottingham England And On More Than One Occasion Have Been Described As "Guitar Messiahs". HoS We're First Noticed Back In Late 2005 With The Release Of The Disposable Fiction EP This Saw Them Briefly Classed As Part Of The Whole "Nu Gazing" Movement And Compared To Local Bands Like 'Amusement Parks On Fire & Other UK Bands In And Around The Club AC30/Goonite Scenes. The Band Supported Lift To Experience Mainman Josh Pearson In 2005 At A Club AC30 Gig. The Band Released A Single Wish It Away On AC30 In 2007. The Bands Debut Album Comfort In Fear Released In March 2008 On Music To Bleed To Suggests Wider Influences And A Maturing Sound. HoS' Songwriting Tends To Be More Stronger And Focussed Than Their FX Pedal Loving Contemporaries. Classic Rock Is Referenced As Much As Dream Pop. THis Was Not Lost On The Music Press Especially As Classic Rock Gave The Album 8/10. Waiting Has Been A Big Playlist Hit On Shoegazer Radio & The Bands Disposable Fiction EP Has Sold Steadily Gathering Acclaim With Bloggers And Other Alternative Music Fans.
