Jeffrey Foskett Born In San Jose CA On 17 February 1956 Died 11 December 2023 Was An American Singer Songwriter And Record Producer Remembered As A Touring And Studio Musician For Brian Wilson And The Beach Boys Since The 1980s And For His 1996 Debut Solo Album "Thru My Window". Influenced By The Classic Surf Guitar Style Of The Young Carl Wilson He Wrote And Recorded With Power-Pop Luminaries Such As Doug Fieger The Knack Bill Lloyd And Marshall Crenshaw. Foskett Recorded Roughly A Half Dozen CDs Of His Own Wilson/early Beatles Influenced Music. His "best Of" Disc Called "Stars In The Sand" Was Released On The Pop Collective Label. Foskett Was A Member Of California's Papa Doo Run Run. He Enjoyed A 25 Year Association With Brian Wilson And The Beach Boys Having Spent 10 Years As A Sideman In The Beach Boys Touring Band And As A Key Member Of Wilson's Touring Band. In Addition To Wilson Foskett Was One Of A Handful Of Musicians Who Performed At Both The Original Live Aid Concert And The Live 8 Sequel In Berlin.
