KitFai Is A Somewhat New Rock Band From Oslo That Stands Out From The Rest Of The Current Norwegian Music Landscape. Their Music Incorporates Elements Of Pop Postrock And Punk And Combines Melancholic And Floating Soundscapes With Melodic And Energetic Expressiveness. Rock With Clear-Cut Hooks As Well As Depth And Substance.
Bodil Kvangarsnes Takes Center Stage With Her Clear Yet Delicate Vocals And The Rest Of The Band Is Comprised Of Guitarists Andreas Engeseth And Markus Lind Aase Bassist Rein Blomquist And Drummer Arne Steinar Myrvang.
Kitfai Recently Released Their First Recording A Five-Track EP Named “Grip” Which Came Out In Late September 2015. The Band Has Previously Shown What They’re Good For Live At Different Clubs Around Oslo And Their Genuine Live Show Energy Was Also Brought Along Into The Studio. The Recording Of “Grip” Took Place At Urban Sound Studios In Oslo And Is Produced By Thomas Wang. Wang Has Previously Worked With Norwegian Bands And Artists Like Benea Reach Sivert Høyem Heroes & Zeros OnklP & De Fjerne Slektningene And Comet Kid. The Result Of This Cooperative Effort Is A Handful Of Poignant Tracks With A Distinctive And Accessible Sound.
