Charo Bogarín Known Artistically As "La Charo" Is An Artist Dedicated To Researching The Musical Folklore Of Her Homeland. Founder Of The Duo Tonolec She Is Also Currently Working As A Soloist. She Was Born On 24 September 1972 In Clorinda Province Of Formosa Argentina. She Is The Great-Great-Granddaughter Of The Guarani Chief Guayraré. On 12 September 1976 Her Father Francisco Javier Pancho Bogarín Was "disappeared" Unidentified During The Videla Dictatorship So Charo Moved With Her Sister And Her Mother Who Was A Frontier Teacher And Later A Systems Engineer To The City Of Resistencia Capital Of The Province Of Chaco. Artistically Charo Not Only Composes And Sings But Also Plays The Bombo Legüero The Charango And The Venezuelan Cuatro. In 2017 She Released Her First Solo Album Entitled "La Charo". In 2018 She Released Her Single "Sumaj Pachamama". In 2019 She Presents Her Second Album Called "Lo Que Tengo" And The Single "Cantora". In 2020 She Releases The Singles "Lo Que Tengo" "Canto Enamorado" And "Soplo De Girasoles" On 27 January 2021 The Documentary "Hace Ruido" Is Released Recorded In The Bosque Peralta Ramos In Mar Del Plata In Which La Charo Participates Together With Sofía Viola And Paloma Del Cerro. There The Three Women Sing For The Cause Of The Trees In The First Edition Of The Cycle BosQueCantas De Planta Y Canta. That Year She Releases The Single "Caña Y Tambor" With La Delio Valdez. On 12 March 2022 She Performs At The Plaza Seca Of The Centro Provincial De Las Artes Teatro Argentino In La Plata Offering A Concert For The International Day Of Latin American Women.
On 27 May She Releases The Single "Agüita De Manantial". In May She Is Appointed Vice-President Of INAMU.
