Melting Clouds Is A Post-Rock Band Based In Kiev Ukraine. Created In 2009 The Band Is Still Coming Up To Understanding The Personal Sound And Musical Approach While The Style Of The Music Is Evident Enough Already. The Band Plays Live Music Laying Heavily Transformed Guitars And Vocals With Live Drums On Quite Diverse Electronic Backgrounds. The Music Appears To Be Much Meditative Within The Wide Range Of Its Expressions From Mostly Silent To Thundering. The Band's Materials Are Made Mainly In A Non-Riff Manner That Makes It Feel Significantly Different Of The Regular Post-Rock Sound Giving It Extra Depth And Beauty As A Result Of Such Variability On May 30 2009 During A Festival Dedicated To 90th Anniversary Of Odessa Film Studio The Band Held Their First Gig A Sort Of Touchstone For The Band And Its Music. The Night Performance In Front Of A Small Audience That Was Not Limited By Time Gave The Band Full Freedom In Choosing The Ways Of Expression. The Void Space Filled With Viscous Flows Of Music Was Transformed And Filled With Visual Images Of Fi/Fo Team For Which Performing As A Video Support For A Live Music Project Was Also A New Experience. The Band’s Music Proved That It’s Relevant And In Demand But Also Defined New Previously Not Evident Requirements For Expression Which In Its Turn Determined The Necessity Of Reorganizing The Band’s Musical As Well As Visual Approach To Its Creativity Melting Clouds Group Supported By Fi/Fo Video Formation Jointly With The SYN Art-Group Laser-Show Gave Their First Full-Scale Concert On September 21 2009 Within The Gogolfest-2009 Festival. Hour And A Half Of The Synthesized Music And Video Was Outpoured Into A Scarily Extensive Atmosphere Of The Arched Galleries Filling Listeners With Sounding Density Both Springy Enveloping And Tearing All Wrapped Up In The Deliberate Variety Of Video-Flow. The Game Of Sound And Light Took Captive Space At Fluid Run Leaving No Chance To Ignore The Inlaid Impulse Predisposing A Listener To Completely Accept The Passage Of The Show As A Phenomenon And To Open Up In The Leading Role Of Listener Empathetic Creator Or To Completely Reject What Was Going On Through The Demand For The Variety Of Active Senses And Experiences To Give Oneself Up Which Could Beckon Or Turn Off Claiming The Listener For The Ability To Respond.
