Nicole Josy Born Nicole Van Palm Wemmel October 21 1946 And Hugo Sigal Born Hugo Verbraeken Kinshasa November 10 1947 Got Together In 1970. They Fell In Love And Decided To Form A Singing Duo. In 1971 They Were Supposed To Perform At The Eurovision Songcontest With The Song "Goeiemorgen Morgen". Right Before They Are To Leave For Dublin Nicole Gets Sick And They Are Replaced By Jacques Raymond En Lily Castel. On December 1 1971 Nicole & Hugo Get Married In Wemmel. Two Years Later They Can Go The Eurovision Songcontest Themselves. With The Song "Baby Baby" They Win The Preselections. The Song Becomes A Chart Topper In Flanders But Not In Europe. They End Last In Ranking But Their Purple Las Vegas-Style Show-Outfits Become Notorious As Well As Their Dance-Routines Which Was All Very New And Unusual In 1973. In The 70's They Went On A Succesful International Tour. In 1984 They Accept An Offer To Perform On Luxury Boats They Travel Around The Globe. In October 1990 They Receive A SABAM Award For Their Career In Flanders. In 2004 They Participate In The Preselections For Eurovision Again With The Song "Love Is All Around". Unfortunately They Do Not Make It To The Finals. In 2005 They Are Honoured At "Congratulations" The Anniversary Show Of The Eurovision Songcontest. They Even Perform A Short Version Of "Baby Baby" In The Same Outfits As 30 Years Ago. Nicole & Hugo Are The Favourites Of Flanders' Gay Audience Because Of Their Performances And Outfits. The Song "Goeiemorgen Morgen" Ranks At The 33rd Place In The International Gay Top 100 Of TBC-Events. read less
