The Ominous Seapods Were A Nineties Jam Band Spawning From Plattsburgh New York And Eventually Settling In Albany New York. At The Height Of Their Popularity Their Line Up Included Max Verna Guitar Vocals Dana Monteith Guitar Vocals Tom Pirozzi Bass Guitar Vocals Brian Mangini Keyboards And Ted Marotta Drums . Todd Pasternak Replaced Max Verna After He Left The Band In 1998. The Band Released Its Debut CD Econobrain 1994 To Minimal Success And Followed Up With Guide To Road Side Ecology 1995 Their First Studio Disc. Later Releases Included Matinee Idols 1998 And Superman Curse 2000 . Despite The Plethora Of Jam Bands The Ominous Seapods Were Able To Expand Beyond Upstate New York Making A Name For Themselves Before Breaking Up In 2002. read less
