Argentine Violinist And Composer Ramiro Gallo Has Performed With Many Symphony And Chamber Orchestras Both In His Own Country And Elsewhere-- Including The Jazz Orchestra At New York's Lincoln Center Directed By Wynton Marsalis. He Has A Broad Background In Different Styles Of Music And Seeks To Push The Boundaries Of Tango Forward Without Losing The Spirit Of That Music. In 2000 He Formed A Forward Looking Tango Quintet In Order To Develop And Perform His Own Repertoire. They Have Since Appeared In Numerous South American And International Festivals And Venues Garnering Critical Praise Along The Way. There Have Been Six Album Releases All Of Which Contain Gallo's Original Compositions Which Are Firmly Rooted In F Tango But Simultaneously Expressive Of The Composer's Broader Aspirations To Explore New Musical Possibilities. read less
