Described By Beat Magazine As A Singer That “rings Of A Soulful Folk-Pop Sound” Sean Writes Performs And Records A Mixture Of Indie Rock Pop And Folk. Some Of Sean's Major Influences Include Hozier The Lumineers Tame Impala Arctic Monkeys And Gregory Alan Isakov. His Debut Single ‘Treading Water’ Premiered On Triple J’s National Radio Program ‘Roots N’ All’ With Nkechi Anele In May 2019 And Was Also Featured On RRR And JoyFM. The Song Was Produced By Sean At His Home Studio And Mixed By Robin Waters The Boat People At Glamour Trowel Studios. He Held A Single Launch With His Band At Northcote Social Club The Same Month With Support From Davy Simony And Paige Black. Sean Grew Up In Dublin And First Picked Up A Guitar When He Was 8 Years Old Learning The Basics From His Dad. He Went On To Study Fine Art And Has Worked For Many Years As A Designer Both In Dublin And Melbourne All The While Continuing To Write And Record His Own Material. He's Spent The Past 5 Years Working On His Music With A Renewed Focus Learning To Play Drums Adding Bass And Keys To The Mix And Producing His Own Tracks In Pro Tools. Sean Has Recently Finished Working On A Collection Of New Material That He Recorded And Produced With Simon Moro Featuring Charlie Woods The Teskey Brothers On Trumpet Josh Barber On Drums And John Lebesis On Bass. The First Of These Tracks ‘Wither On The Vine’ Was Released On The 31st July 2020.
