Snowbirds UK Snowbirds Were The Quintessential Indie Pop Band. Formed By Charlotte Thackray And Singer Songwriter Matthew White Committed Suicide In The Late 90's . Completed By A Bass Player And Drummer Both Students At Cardiff University Who Were Basically "In It For The Beers!". They Released The Motorcycle Baby/Ever And Always Flexi 7" On Watercolour Records In 1992 Which Came With The Popsickle Fanzine And A Split 7" With Les Poissons Solubles On Bring On Bull Records In 1994. Special Guest On These Sessions Was An Session Guitarist Glyn Kerry Groves Who Also Oversaw Production For The Release. Demos Where Made Available On The Waaah/Bring On Bull Website And Motorcycle Baby Which Was On The Popsickle Flexidisc Was Also Released On The Compilation The Sound Of Leamington Spa Volume III. . Special Guest On These Sessions Was An Prolific "Session" Guitarist Glyn Kerry Groves Still In His "Salad Days" Himself. He Championed The Snowbirds Ethos And Played Guitars And Oversaw Production For The Release.
