The Band Is Born In September 2002 From An Idea Of Stefania And Caterina Respectively Voice-Guitar And Bass Survivors Of The Dissolution Of “Looting Lassies” A Female Band Inspired By “The Hole”. Vincenzo Ex “Shape Pongo” Join With Them As Drummer And The Same Does Christian “Shiver”’s Guitarist Who Abandons The Group After More Or Less A Year Leaving His Place To Marco Ex “Zwell” . With This Line Up Stake-Off The Witch Obtains A Good Stability So That After Many Gigs In Spring 2004 They Start Recording At Elfo Studio Of Tavernago The First Album “Stake-Off The Witch” A Very Green And Heterogeneous Album That Resumes The Influences Of Rock Grunge And Sometimes Also Of Metal Sung With The Coupling Of Male And Female Voices Interlacing As In A Dialogue.In September 2004 Exactly Two Years After The Birth The Guys Leave The Band.
After The First Moment Of Panic And Depression However The Deep Love For Music Get Stronger And Stronger And The Two Girls Start A Long Period Of Trials Of Guitarists And Drummers Without Finding The Right Feeling Yet.
Finally At The End Of February 2005 They Meet Fabio Ex “PassoKolRosso” And “The Willet” Drummer And The Affinity Is Immediately So Good That He Starts Playing With Them Regularly Putting An End To This Standstill Period.
In The Following Months Luca An Old Friend Of The Girls Takes Part In The Band As Guitarist And Completes The Original Band’s Formation. With This Line Up Definitely Stable Near May 2005 Stake-Off The Witch Records A Three-Songs Demo Really Different From The First And Much More Similar To The New Band’s Personality Quite Close To Hard Rock And Stoner Rock.
2005 Is A Year Dedicated To Gigs And New Songs Writing Recorded Within October And November 2006 At Mofo Project Studio In An Album Composed By Six New Songs And Two Remixed From The Old Demo. This New Album Titled “Flamingoing” A Word Created By The Guys And Meaning “walking Like A Flamingo”! Sounds Like Kyuss Unida Dozer And Similar And It’s Played With Powerful Guitars And Mellow Sounds Sweetened By Stefania’s Voice That Is Sometimes Melodic And Sensual And Sometimes Aggressive.
