There Is More Than One Artist That Goes By This Name 1. A Progressive Rock/metal Band From Canada.

Stephen Madsen - Drums After Jamming On Several Different Genres Over The Course Of Their High School Years Alexi Laderoute And Bearnard Butler Began To Search For Band Members To Bring Their Ideas Into A More Concentrated Form. After Trying Out Several Drummers & Bass Players What Started As A Primarily Stoner/Sludge Metal Project Drastically Changed With The Entry Of Stephen Madsen On Drums And Todd Boisvert On Bass. Madsen Being The Most Experienced Having Played In Bands In Colorado And Florida Brought With Him The Tools That Butler And Laderoute Needed To Truly Start Composing The Music They Envisioned. All Of This Being Held Together By The Low End And Artist Eye Of Boisvert 'The Stream' Came To Be. The Name 'The Stream' Comes From The Concept That All Music Already Exists In A Pure Form We As Humans Use Our Bodies As Vessels To Tap Into This And "ride The Stream" Of Music. "The Flow Of Liquid Producing Sound. I Float This Stream To Find What's There. Be It Jewels Be It Dirt. It's All The Same. The Vessel Is The Only Change. Around The Bend And Down The Hole. There Stands A Mountain Of Our Souls. Where Everything Unites As One. All Knowing Pure Form. Below The Sun. The Akashic Tomb For All To Be. If You Can Ride This Stream Into The Sea." After Playing The All Ages And Bar Scene Of Charlottetown The Boys Met With Dave Skinner Of Lucas Raine Studios And Decided To Record Their First EP Live Off The Floor! Everything Except For Vocals Guitar Solos And Djembe Were Done All Together In A Few Takes Or Less And No Tracks Had Serious Mastering Done To Them.
