Artist Biography For Victorian Parents

Active December 1979 - January 1983
Formed In December 1979 Victorian Parents Proceeded On A Three Year Life Span Which Grew Out From Lichfield Taking Them Initially To Germany For The Summer Where They Played On Circuit For Two Months. With That Exercise Complete The VP's Returned Home To Begin Afresh And In January 1981 They Produced Their First Single "Dead Red Grass Of Home"/"Another Waste Of Time" Which By Chance Gained The Attention Of Frank Neilson At That Time Of Polydor Who Signed Them Up For A Five Year Album Contract.
The Group's Debut Album "Silence Follows" And Second Single "All American Hero" Sold Reasonable Quantities In Europe And The United States.
A Television Appearance Was Made On "The Old Grey Whistle Test" To No Avail A Strange Experience Never The Less. However Relevant Was The Work Done In Holland Which Included A Date At The Amsterdam 'Paradiso' An Abandoned Synagogue Taken And Used By The Nazi SS During The Occupation Of 1939-44.
Forward 38 Years To 1983 And The VP's Assessing Their Situation With Polydor And Lack Of Progress Throughout 1982 Decided To Cease Activity This Left A Half Recorded Album In The Midst One Track Taken From Those Sessions - "Second Thoughts" Not Put To Vinyl.
