We do not know exactly how this band came to be, except that it all originated with three guys, Yuan, Ameer and Memet, who often played music together in the studio just for fun. As they developed musically, the began to fall into different roles: Yuan offers arrangements of the electronic music and also became the band's programmer; Ameer writes the music and also sings; and Memet fills the position of programmer and other instrument. With a little experimentation, the guys try to write their own original songs. Although their music may sound strange, this is a hallmark of their band and helps distinguish them from other electronic groups. Eventually the guys gave their band the name SAVING PRIVATE GLORIA which was inspired by the title of a film. The name does not contain a special meaning, rather, the important thing for them is to keep working, and continue creating music with a unique character and sound.
