Steven Devine pursues a wide and varied career as a conductor and keyboard player. He studied harpsichord, piano and conducting at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester and continued his education at Oxford University. He is co-principal keyboard player with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and appears regularly with many other major ensembles and orchestras; he has recorded over thirty CDs in this capacity. As a conductor, he is Associate Director of Opera Restor’d and a Music Director with New Chamber Opera. He has performed Mozart Piano Concerti at the Barbican, Bridgewater Hall (Manchester), National Concert Hall in Dublin and the Usher Hall, Edinburgh.
