Compass band (Armenian: «Կոմպաս Բենդ») is an Armenian pop group formed in Yerevan in 2011. The group was formed during "Thanksgiving Day" in secondary school No. 55 named after A. Chekhov. One of the boys had brought a guitar with him for the holiday, and the 4 friends performed popular and well-known songs at the event such as: "Yesterday", "Let it be", "Пачка сигарет", "Babe im gonna leave you" etc... On that day, they also performed a song written by themselves, "Thanksgiving Day".

The members of the group are vocalist & bassist Davit Paronikyan (Դավիթ Պարոնիկյան), guitarist & backing vocalist Aram Tsaturyan (Արամ Ծատուրյան), keyboardist & backing vocalist Abraham Aznauryan (Աբրահամ Ազնաուրյան) and percussionist Arshavir Grigoryan (Արշավիր Գրիգորյան). In 2012, in Amsterdam, with the song "Sweetie Baby", the group took part in the "Junior Eurovision" international song contest and took 3rd place. They also performed in many concerts in Yerevan and in other regions of Armenia. In 2013, "Compass Band" participated in the annual "Armenia" music award ceremony in Moscow. In 2014, the group presented the rock version of the song "Mountain Girl" (Armenian: Սարի Աղջիկ, Romanized: Sari Axjik) as part of a project. In 2015, they filmed the video of their song "Happy Song" written by the first lady of the Republic of Armenia Rita Sargsyan. In 2022, in honor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest’s twentieth anniversary, "Compass Band" performed their song "Sweetie Baby" (10th Anniversary Edition) during the opening ceremony in Republic Square in Yerevan.
