Enemypoets are an Alternative Rock band based in Liverpool. The band formed in 2009, and choosing not to play gigs immediately, set to work on a set of solid songs, and begin work their debut recordings. The band made their live debut in 2010, and quickly made an impression, making it to the Northern Section semi finals of the Surface Unsigned battle of the bands festival. The band formed in 2009, and choosing not to play gigs immediately, set to work on a set of solid songs, and begin work their debut recordings. The band made their live debut in 2010, and quickly made an impression, making it to the Northern Section semi finals of the Surface Unsigned battle of the bands festival. In autumn 2010 the band headed into the studio to record their debut EP 'Corridor' which was released for free in January 2011. The band are continuing recording demos in 2011, and sporadically making these demos available. Their second EP is due to be released in the summer, followed by their debut album in the autumn.
