SSB formed in 2000 in Redding California. They recorded a demo tape and broke up shortly after. They decided to start playing again in 2001 and recorded a demo cd. Later that year Martyr Records put out their Self Titled 7inch. Later on in that year they recorded again for a WCWW comp and a split 7inch with Go Time from Philly. The comp came out, the split didnt. In early 2002 they made the trek to moving a few hours south to San Francisco which they soon called our new home.

In August 2002 they played their last show at 924 Gilman and in their "Last show" 7inch they included a cd of the last songs they recorded that never came out. SSB was everyone's first "real" band and for the most part they all still are involved in hardcore and straight edge. Most importantly is the fact they are all still good friends. Since they broke up members of SSB have been in or now in: ALLEGIANCE (rip), RIGHT ON (rip), BLACKLISTED, SET IT STRAIGHT (rip), SET YOUR GOALS, PULL THE PIN(rip), TILL DEATH(rip), THE SEPARATION (RIP), SECRET PEOPLE, STRESS RELIEF.
