Umekichi [aka[url=http://www.last.fm/music/うめ吉]うめ吉] (born in Kurashiki, Okayama) is a Japanese folk and pop musician. She is noted for an interest in traditional Japanese music, she plays shamisen, at times blended with more modern styles.
