The New Wave of British Hardcore (abbreviated to NWOBHC) is a British hardcore punk movement that began in the mid-2010s. The name was coined by Arms Race on their album of the same name. Unlike traditional UK hardcore, NWOBHC bands generally take significant influence from '80s American hardcore bands like Jerry's Kids, Minor Threat and Gorilla Biscuits. Some bands also take heavily crust punk.
